Michael Buble and his wife Luisana Lopilato have named their newborn daughter Vida Amber Betty Buble, his representative has confirmed to PEOPLE. Vida—whose first name means “life” in Luisana’s native Spanish— was born on Wednesday, 25th July and weighs six lbs., 1 oz. Michael rep has said, “The family is back home and are overjoyed with the new addition,” sharing that the couple chose Amber for the 42-year-old Canadian singer’s mother and Betty for Luisana’s mother. The 31-year-old new mama has announced her baby girl arrival on Instagram Thursday and shared a black-and-white picture of Vida as well as hinted at her name in the caption.
In Spanish, the Argentine actress wrote: “How to explain that our heart explodes with love? That there are not enough hours in a day to think about it. I thank God for making us this gift of life and happiness! Because looking into her eyes is looking at heaven itself!” In the caption, she has said: “We love you to infinity and beyond,” writing “Vida” for “life,” with a capital V.
The tiny tot joined the couple alongside her big brothers: 2-year-old Elias and Noah [turning 5 in August]. In February, PEOPLE has confirmed that the spouses of seven years would be adding to their family once more, with Michael himself confirming on 2nd July 2 that their baby on the way would be a girl.
As per ET Canada, on Ireland’s Today FM radio’s “The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show,” he has said: “I got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.” In March, the mother of three made her baby-bump debut on the red carpet at the Juno Awards in Vancouver, British Columbia— where the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer was hosting the show.
